Chipping Campden School Swing Band 2009

In July 2009 an invitation was extended to the School Swing Band to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, one of world’s leading musical events.  The school’s music director, Leon James, had sent copies of the band’s CD and DVD to the Festival organisers. Mr James added, ‘We went to Disneyland Paris last year but only got to play for half an hour, so for us to be able to perform in front of thousands of people on an open-air stage on two nights of the festival is really awesome & we can’t wait.’
