The Caucasian Chalk Circle

1967 I believe. We did Alice Through the Looking Glass in the first year of the new Comprehensive School directed by Joan Lewis, but Chalk Circle was the first of the big productions aimed at getting as many pupils involved as possible, as shown by the programme. In the photos are Steve Grove being given a bath by Bernadette Newman with Sally Tyson looking on, Angela Farrell, Sally, myself (Ian Elliott) and Julian Williams and one on Julian (Blockhead) and myself (Corporal). There must be a lot more photos about as they were taken by a professional photographer.
