Alumni: Paul Mayne
At one point Keith Warmington and I managed to win the Hilda Terry Travel Prize which gave us an interesting couple of weeks in Hardy country in Dorset, including a day with then 'Mayor of Casterbridge' in Dorchester. Other than that the Baker's Arms at Broad Campden being the 6th Form meet up place on Friday evenings (how times have changed). Some excellent teachers. Robert Long ('Bob a Long') who encouraged us to see a word beyond Campden, Mr. Tilbrook who gave me a life long love of geography and of course Mr. Jones - as perfect a headmaster as one could ever want. The six form years were very special - and lunch times having around Center 65 in the summer were a great way to spend your school days.
Most of my working life was in the US (San Francisco & New York) in the Finance industry. Currently living in Medellin, Colombia. I try to return to the Campden area on a regular basis - and still keep in touch with several people from the school days.
