Grammar School Scholarships 1913

The Grammar School Scholarships: The annual examination for scholarships was held at the Grammar School on Saturday last, when no less than nineteen candidates from twelve schools presented themselves. This should give some idea of the increasing popularity of the school, and of the desire of parents to take advantage of the thoroughly up to date curriculum. At the meeting of the Governors on Tuesday last the following were awarded scholarships as a result of the competitive examination: – F.Waring, Ebrington School; H.G.Hutchings, Longborough School; G.Burford, Longborough School; R.V.Bolton, Oddington School, F.J.Jacques, Broadway School; Victoria Cook, Quinton School.
