Grammar School: The Trustees met on Friday 7th at the Noel Arms Hotel, to take into consideration the memorial presented to them by the Corporation and Inhabitants of the town, in reference to the contemplated resignation of the Headmaster, and we are happy to state that all points of difference between the Trustees and the Rev, Dr. Hiron have been satisfactorily adjusted, and the new arrangement for the comfort and convenience of the boarders, we doubt not, will be fully appreciated by the parties for whose benefit it has been designed. The fees of Boarders have been reduced from £40 to £35 per annum. The Rev. Joseph Foster, M.A., has been appointed second master, and will take up residence at the School House with Mrs. Foster, and commence his duties at Lady Day next.
